Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Hourly Case Manager in Florida to provide intensive mental health interventions under supervision of a licensed professional.

The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and experience with youth in behavioral health settings; bilingual abilities are a plus. Flexible hours may include evenings and weekends, with weekly pay and mileage reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; not required.
• Bachelor's with 1 year CASSP experience or 12 college hours in social services or humanities with one year CASSP experience.
• Experience in a community-based agency program.
• Experience working with youth and families in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing interventions described by Treatment Teams.
• Provide clinical information and data to the treatment team and engage participants in age-appropriate activities.
• Participate in trainings or testing required by state government or referring authority.

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Summary of the Position: Case Manager provides intensive individual mental health interventions and support services. Case Manager is supervised by a mental health professional as part of the treatment team.

• Assist in the development and implement the interventions developed by the Treatment Teams and describe them in the treatment plan.


• Provide mental health professionals and other pertinent professionals with clinical information and data to support the treatment plan's objectives as well as engaging participant in a age-appropriate therapeutic activities and provide information and data in a timely manner.


• Participate in and meet any training or testing requirements that may require by the state government and/or referring authority.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field preferred


• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related field required with at least one year of experience in the CASSP system program or 12 college level semester hours in social services or humanities with the minimum of one year of experience in the CASSP system program.


• Experience in a community-based agency program


• Experience working with youth and families in a behavioral health manner and/or at-risk youth and families


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Proficient computer skills required; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.


• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.


• Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.


• Flexible Hours - may require some evenings and weekends
