Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate personal injury Case Manager to join our Pre-Litigation team, with a primary focus on coordinating and monitoring our clients’ medical treatment following an injury. This role is responsible for helping clients navigate the healthcare process while ensuring treatment, medical records, and billing are properly tracked and obtained so cases continue to move forward efficiently.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple cases and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will serve as a key point of contact between clients, attorneys, and medical providers, building strong professional relationships while providing exceptional client service throughout the pre-litigation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clients’ medical treatment based on their injuries, treatment needs, location, availability, and individual circumstances.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to monitor treatment progress, address concerns, and help remove barriers to receiving appropriate medical care.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, clinics, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate timely treatment.
  • Track each client’s treatment status, appointments, referrals, and overall medical progression.
  • Obtain, organize, and maintain medical records, billing statements, diagnostic reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Follow up consistently with medical providers and facilities to ensure records and bills are received in a timely manner.
  • Review treatment information for completeness and identify outstanding records, bills, appointments, or other case-related needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management notes and documentation.
  • Communicate important treatment updates and potential issues to the Pre-Litigation Managing Attorney.
  • Identify delays, gaps in treatment, scheduling issues, or other obstacles and proactively work toward solutions.
  • Assist in ensuring cases remain on track and that medical documentation is available when needed for case evaluation and settlement.
  • Provide professional, empathetic, and responsive customer service to clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
  • Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive medical and personal information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, case managers, and other members of the Pre-Litigation team.
