Job summary

The City of Peoria, Arizona Police Department seeks a detail-oriented Civilian Investigator to support the Case Management Unit. You will handle criminal records, disposition reconciliation, and compliance reporting, owning the Final Disposition Reporting workflow and coordinating with AZDPS and courts.

This full-time position offers a four-ten-hour shift schedule, comprehensive municipal employee coverage, and opportunities to collaborate with regional agencies while maintaining accurate case

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduation or equivalency.
• Experience: 2 years in the same or similar position.
• Licenses/Certifications: Arizona Class "D" Driver's License upon hire; background check incl. polygraph; AZDPS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Case Research using local, state, and federal databases.
• Backlog reduction by comparing police reports with court outcomes and submitting correction forms to AZDPS.
• Coordinate with external judicial stakeholders, courts, and prosecutorial agencies for case input and secure sharing of records.
• Maintain electronic case history logs and update notes in the internal police database.
