The City of Peoria Police Department seeks a detail‑oriented Civilian Investigator to support the Case Management Unit, focusing on criminal records integrity and compliance reporting.

The role owns the Final Disposition Reporting workflow, cross‑checking court records against arrest reports to reduce open disposition backlogs and coordinate with AZDPS and courts to share records accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalency.
• 2 years’ experience in the same or similar positions.
• Arizona Class “D” Driver’s License upon hire.
• Background check including polygraph.
• Certification: AZ CJIS Terminal Operator within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Advanced Case Research using local, state, and federal databases to perform criminal records research.
• Records optimization and backlog reduction by comparing police reports with court outcomes and submitting corrections to AZDPS.
• Inter‑agency coordination with external judicial stakeholders, courts, and prosecutorial agencies for secure sharing of records.
• Maintain electronic case histories, attach disposition reports, and support unit continuity.
