Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks a detail-oriented Case Management Assistant (Onsite) to verify, document, and coordinate information for Medicaid-related applications and case assignments. You will support enrollment, verify coverage, and communicate with various stakeholders in a HIPAA-conscious environment.

The role requires experience in insurance/healthcare programs, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, healthcare, or government programs.
• Experience performing math-related tasks or financial verification.
• At least 2 years handling inbound and outbound phone inquiries.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide enrollment support for Medicaid/HIPP/Premium Assistance by phone.
• Verify and investigate healthcare coverage for Medicaid recipients and dependents.
• Identify members who may qualify for the HIPP/Premium Assistance.
• Complete periodic and ad-hoc reports.
• Handle high-volume calls about the HIPP/Premium Assistance program.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry.
• Obtain and verify documentation for eligibility and enrollment.
• Maintain active cases during enrollment and premium review periods.
• Manage diverse cases within established SLAs.
• Conduct follow-up calls on case status, payments, or outstanding requirements.
• Perform document review, case status ID, basic legal research, and escalations.
• Prioritize case events and payment/recovery tasks to meet deadlines.
• Interact with attorneys, adjusters, providers, court staff, recipients and internal clients.
