Job summary

Sonsray Machinery, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Shop Technician to perform service maintenance and repairs on CASE construction machinery in shop and field environments.

You will diagnose engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems, conduct preventative maintenance, and follow OEM guidelines while maintaining accurate service records. Prior experience is preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Skilled in safe use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work shop and field environments as needed.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform service maintenance and quality repairs on CASE construction machinery and related equipment in shop and/or field environments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Perform structural repairs, including welding, in accordance with OEM guidelines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is returned to optimal working condition.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Follow established OEM procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Operate hand, pneumatic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
