Job summary

Maola Local Dairies, a farmer-owned cooperative, seeks a Case Dock Operator for 1st shift in Newport News, VA. You will support production by stocking milk cases and maintaining clean, safe dock operations.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work 4:00am-12:30pm, and overtime on weekends/holidays. You will help move pallets and ensure efficient docking of cases to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trailers and documents cases and pallets accurately.
• Lifts, stacks, and loads pallets and other items from trailers.
• Safely transfers cases to the dock chain and supports production during busy times.
• Keeps the work area clean and orderly, maintaining a safe condition.
• Handles chemicals and machinery safely when cleaning case washers, dock drains, or trailers.
• Monitors radio systems to ensure effective communication for efficiency.
• Collaborates with team members to achieve shared goals.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUMMARY

Supplies Filler Operators with clean and sanitary milk cases to allow production to run efficiently.

• Keeps the work area clean and orderly and in safe condition.
• When cleaning case washer, case dock drain, or trailers, must safely work around chemicals and machinery.
• Monitors radio systems to ensure effective communication for operational efficiency.
• Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and ensure successful completion of tasks.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
