Job summary

Arms Acres Inc. is seeking clinicians to join our licensed facility in Jamaica Queens, NY, offering outpatient treatment for substance-use-disorder.

You will conduct evaluations, coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans and provide individual, group and family therapy to support client recovery. The role requires CASAC-T, CASAC, LMSW or LMHC credentials, with a preference for experience in outpatient SUD counseling and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications are CASAC-T, CASAC certification or LMSW, LMHC.
• Experience working specifically with outpatient substance abuse counseling preferred.
• Bilingual Language Speakers Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive clinical evaluations and develops multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Coordinates treatment plan development and reviews within regulatory timeframes.
• Documents patient progress and interventions in case records within required timeframes.
• Delivers individual, group and family treatment per patient plans and program needs.
• Performs utilization reviews, progress reports and aftercare planning with referring agencies.
• Engages in quality improvement activities to support service innovation.
• Maintains professional competence through ongoing education and supervision.

Arms Acres is looking for novel clinicians who are ready to change lives in our licensed facility located in the Jamaica Queens, NY. We provide outpatient treatment, with cutting edge support for those struggling with substance-use-disorder (SUD). An Arms Acre clinician provides comprehensive clinical case management services that include: assessments; individual, group and family treatment; treatment plan coordination; discharge planning; and intervention with client support systems, including social service programs and managed care.

Full Time Schedule:

Hours vary between 7:00am - 7:00pm.

5,000k Sign-on bonus eligible

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides/ensures comprehensive evaluation of patient's functioning as defined by facility policy and procedures.
• Coordinates the development and implementation of the multidisciplinary treatment plan; coordinates treatment plan review; performs these activities within established time frames.
• Documents patient progress and own interventions in case record. Need to remain within time frames of regulatory requirements.
• Provides individual, group and family treatment (psycho-education, life skills) as identified in patient treatment plans and requested by program director.
• Performs utilization review, provides progress reports and develop aftercare plans in conjunction with referring persons/agencies, EAPs and managed care/insurance entities.
• Participates in quality improvement activities facilitating innovation
• Maintains professional competence in their discipline and treatment specialty areas of addiction medicine, through continuing education and supervision.
