Job summary

Arms Acres Inc. is seeking experienced clinicians for our Bronx, NY licensed facility to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment for substance-use-disorder. Clinicians perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate discharge planning with client support systems.

Full-time schedule includes Mon/Tue/Fri 11:00–19:30 and Wed/Thu 9:00–17:30, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team in a outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• CASAC-T, CASAC, LMSW or LMHC certification is required.
• Experience with outpatient substance abuse counseling is preferred.
• Bilingual speakers are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive evaluation of patient functioning per facility policy.
• Coordinates development and implementation of multidisciplinary treatment plan within time frames.
• Documents patient progress in case records within regulatory time frames.
• Provides individual, group and family treatment as identified in treatment plans.
• Performs utilization review, produces progress reports and develops aftercare plans with referrals.
• Participates in quality improvement activities to facilitate innovation.
• Maintains professional competence through continuing education and supervision.

Arms Acres is looking for novel clinicians who are ready to change lives in our licensed facility located in the Bronx, NY. We provide outpatient treatment, with cutting edge support for those struggling with substance-use-disorder (SUD). An Arms Acre clinician provides comprehensive clinical case management services that include: assessments; individual, group and family treatment; treatment plan coordination; discharge planning; and intervention with client support systems, including social service programs and managed care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provides/ensures comprehensive evaluation of patient's functioning as defined by facility policy and procedures.
• Coordinates the development and implementation of the multidisciplinary treatment plan; coordinates treatment plan review; performs these activities within established time frames.
• Documents patient progress and own interventions in case record. Need to remain within time frames of regulatory requirements.
• Provides individual, group and family treatment (psycho-education, life skills) as identified in patient treatment plans and requested by program director.
• Performs utilization review, provides progress reports and develop aftercare plans in conjunction with referring persons/agencies, EAPs and managed care/insurance entities.
• Participates in quality improvement activities facilitating innovation
• Maintains professional competence in their discipline and treatment specialty areas of addiction medicine, through continuing education and supervision.

Full Time Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday and Friday (11am-7:30pm)

Wednesday and Thursday (9am-5:30pm)

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Required qualifications are CASAC-T, CASAC certification or LMSW, LMHC
• Experience working specifically with outpatient substance abuse counseling preferred
• Bilingual Language Speakers Preferred
