Job summary

Arms Acres is seeking clinicians to join our licensed outpatient facility in the Bronx, NY. You will provide comprehensive clinical case management, assessments, individual, group and family treatment, discharge planning, and coordination with social services and managed care.

Full-time schedule includes Mon, Tue and Fri (11am-7:30pm) and Wed/Thu (9am-5:30pm). CASAC-T/CASAC or LMSW/LMHC certification required; bilingual candidates preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• CASAC-T/CASAC or LMSW/LMHC certification required.
• Experience in outpatient substance use disorder counseling preferred.
• Bilingual speakers encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provides/ensures comprehensive evaluation of patient's functioning as defined by facility policy and procedures.
• Coordinates the development and implementation of the multidisciplinary treatment plan; coordinates treatment plan review; performs these activities within established time frames.
• Documents patient progress and own interventions in case record. Needs to remain within time frames of regulatory requirements.
• Provides individual, group and family treatment (psycho-education, life skills) as identified in patient treatment plans and requested by program director.
• Performs utilization review, provides progress reports and develop aftercare plans in conjunction with referring persons/agencies, EAPs and managed care/insurance entities.
• Participates in quality improvement activities facilitating innovation
• Maintains professional competence in their discipline and treatment specialty areas of addiction medicine, through continuing education and supervision.

Arms Acres is looking for novel clinicians who are ready to change lives in our licensed facility located in the Bronx, NY. We provide outpatient treatment, with cutting edge support for those struggling with substance-use-disorder (SUD). An Arms Acre clinician provides comprehensive clinical case management services that include: assessments; individual, group and family treatment; treatment plan coordination; discharge planning; and intervention with client support systems, including social service programs and managed care.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Required qualifications are CASAC-T, CASAC certification or LMSW, LMHC
• Experience working specifically with outpatient substance abuse counseling preferred
• Bilingual Language Speakers Preferred
