Job summary

ProKids in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a CASA Manager to train, supervise, and support Court Appointed Special Advocates who protect children in the protection system. You will ensure volunteers are prepared to represent children’s best interests and comply with court, agency, and program standards.

The role blends guardianship responsibilities with volunteer coaching, ongoing case review, and collaboration with attorneys, families, and service providers to strengthen outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with child protection services and juvenile court.
• Familiarity with the foster care system; guardianship and termination of parental rights.
• Understanding of the impact of trauma, abuse and neglect on children and families.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and supports CASA volunteers advocating for children.
• Meets with child, petitioner and all adults living in the home.
• Follow-up with families to ensure services are in place and children and their families are participating.
• Contacts CASA at least once per month to discuss case and prior to court hearings to prepare the volunteer and the court report.
• Ensures court reports are written and submitted in a timely manner.
