Description

CAS Group Facilitator

The Group Facilitator supports clients in substance use recovery by leading therapeutic and educational groups, conducting individual check-ins, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe and supportive treatment environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, including relapse prevention, coping skills, mindfulness, and CBT/DBT skills
  • Conduct client check-ins and support treatment and recovery goals
  • Document group attendance, participation, and client progress
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused group environment
  • Manage group dynamics and use de-escalation techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical and medical staff regarding client progress and treatment needs
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and required trainings
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable using EHR computer systems for documentation
  • Availability for weekend groups as needed
