Job summary

White Glove Placement, Inc. is seeking a CAS Assessor to conduct comprehensive assessments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New York.

You will work independently to ensure individuals receive needed services and supports. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in an approved discipline, at least one year of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an approved discipline.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience with I/DD population.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid NYS driver's license or NYS ID.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Weekend availability as needed.
• Proof of degree required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive CAS assessments for adults with I/DD in home and community settings.
• Work independently to assess needs and support development of person-centered plans.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, staff, and healthcare professionals as needed.
