Job summary

Med-Scribe, Inc. in New York State is seeking a CAS Assessor to work independently while delivering focused assessments to individuals and families in the community.

You will schedule and conduct home visits for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, evaluating strengths and needs across life areas; travel up to 2 hours from home, with remote work equipment provided and a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Full-time, 40 hours weekly with varying evenings and weekends.
• Travel to client homes up to 2 hours from home; some counties included.
• Ability to perform person-centered CAS assessments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule home and community visits to perform CAS assessments.
• Travel to homes of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities to assess strengths, needs and interests.
• Determine supports across life areas including living skills and health.
