Med-Scribe, Inc. is hiring for a Community CAS Assessor to conduct person-centered assessments at clients' homes and in the community across New York State. You will schedule visits, travel to residences, and collaborate with families to understand strengths, needs and supports.

The role requires independence with travel up to two hours from home, some evening and weekend work, and a commitment to community service. Benefits include insurance, PTO and retirement plans.

In our CAS Assessor position, you’ll schedule your home and community visits and will be making a difference in the lives of the individuals, families and communities of the people you work with.

In this role, you will travel to the homes of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities to perform person-centered CAS (Coordinated Assessment System) assessments to determine each individual’s strengths, needs and interests. The CAS looks at all areas of a person’s life, such as the person’s interests, living skills, health, behavior, and supports. Travel is based on your location and will include your county, and potentially neighboring counties, up to a maximum of 2 hours’ travel time.

Days/Hours

Full time, 40 hours weekly. Schedules will vary weekly and will include evening and weekend work. Reliability and flexibility are required.

Salary

$26 to $28.25 / hour, depending on benefits elected.

Mileage

Mileage reimbursements available up to a weekly maximum of 100 miles.

Travel

Based on your location. It will include your county and may include surrounding counties. Hybrid - expect to travel 1 day per week as needed! Travel is limited to a maximum of 2 hours from your home, and computer equipment is provided for remote work.
