Job summary

CAS is seeking a Technology Intern for Summer 2027 on our Business Data Governance team. The internship will be located at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, running May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

You will work with an Agile development team to build software applications and collaborate with product owners to groom backlogs, while expanding your professional network. Participants gain exposure to state-of-the-art software technologies and deliberate learning through team training

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in IT or related field, or a business degree with data/programming exposure.
• Some exposure to SQL, Tableau, GIT, Salesforce, Snowflake, Data Modeling, or Atlan is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities are required.
• Ability to work in an open, agile development environment and independently.

Position Summary

CAS is currently seeking a Technology Intern for Summer 2027 on our Business Data Governance team. These positions will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Our Summer Intern Program aims to foster a high level of engagement and learning for participants through in-depth immersion into our working environment with our professional teams. Participants will benefit from exposure to a variety of state-of-the-art software technologies and practices, while also expanding their professional network with CAS staff and fellow interns. These connections offer valuable insights into potential career opportunities.

The Internship will run from May 17th, 2027, to August 6th, 2027.

Job Accountabilities

• Create software applications, services, and systems with an Agile Development team, delivering or enhancing CAS products, content pipelines, or business solutions.
• Collaborate with teammates and product owners to groom backlogs of epics and stories for upcoming development.
• Connect across the organization through the Summer Intern Program to build influential working relationships, preparing your career for tomorrow.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends through individual and team training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in the Information Technology field or a related discipline (like Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Computer Engineering), or a Business-related degree with some data or programming experience.
• Some experience with ANY of the following is preferred: SQL, Tableau, GIT, Salesforce, Snowflake, Data Modeling, Atlan.
• Strong communication skills, teaming skills, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in an open, agile software development environment as well as independently
