Job summary

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a Carwash Attendant/Porter at our Nissan location in Nampa, ID. This full-time entry-level role focuses on vehicle appearance and customer service in the outdoor wash bay, with training provided and room for growth.

Starting pay is $16.00/hour plus benefits including PTO, health, dental, vision, 401(k) with Fidelity, life insurance, and discounts on parts, service, and vehicle purchases for you and your family.

Responsibilities

• Moves, cleans and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support the service department activities.
• Assessing display lots, takes appropriate action to display vehicles to Kendall standards
• Assist the service team by directing customers to the appropriate advisor and gathering basic vehicle information to facilitate the check-in process.
• Operate car wash equipment and assist in wash process
• Safely using buckets, brushes, brooms, pressure washers, and hand tools to clean exterior and interior of vehicles
• Perform periodic maintenance on wash equipment and keeping the facility clean and orderly.
• Other janitorial tasks as needed

We are looking for self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the auto industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. A Carwash Attendant/Porter is responsible for the appearance of the lot, making sure vehicles are clean, arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations.

Work is performed outdoors, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will be required to wash vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift.
