Job summary

TrocoFab in Missouri is seeking a CAD Drafter/Project Manager for a full-time in-office role in an architectural metal fabrication shop. The position converts architectural concepts into detailed shop drawings, builds parts lists, submittals, and oversees projects from start to finish.

You will read architectural drawings, measure on site when needed, and collaborate with procurement, estimating, design teams, architects, general contractors, and senior managers to realize designs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Flexibility to perform field measurements when required for accuracy.
• Experience coordinating across procurement, estimating, design, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Create shop fabrication drawings and parts lists.
• Prepare submittals and assist in ordering parts.

Architectural Metal Fabrication Shop looking for a CAD Drafter/Project Manager for Full time in office position. The detailing position takes architectural basic design ideas and turns them into reality. Also includes creating parts lists, creating submittals, ordering parts, shop fabrication drawings, and managing projects from start to finish.

This is a design position in an architectural metal fabrication shop. Will require some level of creativity for coming up with complex designs for architect/designer approval. Work closely with procurement teams, estimating, design teams, architects, general contractors, and senior managers to turn ideas into reality. You will be tied with the project from start to finish.

Programs Used: AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD

Skills: Must be able to accurately read and understand Architectural Drawings.

Ability to ready a tape measure if needed for field measuring. There will be time where we need to visit sites for accurate field measurements. Please check out our website to see the scope of work that we create!

This is an in office full time position, with business hours Mon-Thur 6am-330pm, and Friday 7am-11am.
