Job summary

TrocoFab in St. Louis, MO is seeking a CAD Drafter/Detailer for a full-time, in-office role. The position focuses on turning architectural concepts into detailed fabrication drawings and parts lists.

You will work closely with project managers, procurement, estimators, design teams, architects, and contractors from start to finish, using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Strong reading of drawings and precise measurement reading are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading architectural drawings.
• Capable of reading a tape measure for field measurements.

Responsibilities

Architectural Metal Fabrication Shop looking for a CAD Drafter/Detailer for Full time in office position. The detailing position takes architectural basic design ideas and turns them into reality. Also includes creating parts lists, ordering parts, shop fabrication drawings, and some wj operation as well.

This is a design position in a metal fabrication shop. Will require some level of creativity for coming up with complex designs for architect/designer approval.

Work closely with Project managers, procurement teams, estimating, design teams, architects, general contractors, and senior managers to turn ideas into reality. You will be tied with the project from start to finish.

Programs Used: AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD

Skills: Must be able to accurately read and understand Architectural Drawings.

Ability to ready a tape measure if needed for field measuring.

This is an in office full time position, with business hours Mon-Thur 6am-330pm, and Friday 7am-11am.
