A global home furnishings retailer is seeking a part-time Carts Co-Worker in Draper, Utah. You will provide friendly and efficient services for customers, ensure shopping tools are well-stocked and maintained, and support in other customer service areas. The ideal candidate is physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and enjoys outdoor work. This role offers a pay rate of $17.15 per hour with flexible scheduling.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
• Ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours.
• Ensure physical shopping tools are filled at closing.
• Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report any IT issues, and remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe.
• Address customer needs, resolve issues independently, and escalate matters to a manager when needed.
• Support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect as needed.
• When supporting in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), provide customers with a simple and efficient handout experience.
• When supporting in Returns, ensure products and equipment are properly staged.
• When supporting Click & Collect, create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs and walking frequently.
• Working Conditions: Outdoor 50% of the time.

JOB DETAILS

• Employment type: Part-time
• Hours: 12-19 hours per week / Limited Benefits Eligible
• Shifts: Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Work schedules are published one month in advance
• Pay rate: $17.15/hour
• Posting closing date: Anticipated on or around 9/14/25
