Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Machine Operator in Downingtown, PA to operate forming machines, monitor quality, and perform routine maintenance. The role requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience and the ability to follow safety protocols in English. Starting compensation is $23.70 per hour with pay differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• The ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates zone of forming machines at or above standard levels, considering waste, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoots causes of machine malfunctions and makes adjustments or repairs to ensure cartons meet specifications and machines run properly.
• Conducts regular quality checks and takes corrective action to fix defects identified; performs weekly machine maintenance and changeovers.
