Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Packer in Downingtown, PA. The role feeds material into packaging lines, inspects products, and packs goods in the correct configurations.

You will perform quality checks, adjust machines as needed, replace tape on sealing equipment, and ensure proper labeling and housekeeping. The position is full-time with a 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and starts at $20.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• The ability to read and understand safety protocols and equipment manuals written in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Feeds material into machines and packs finished goods in correct configuration.
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs.
• Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
• Replaces adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
• Ensures labels are present and placed correctly.
• Stacks finished product for transportation.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and follows safety rules.
• Completes paperwork accurately and timely.
