Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Bag Machine Operator in Milesburg, PA. The role involves operating machines, inspecting produced goods, and packaging items on 12-hour swing shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm, rotating to 7:00 pm–7:00 am every other month).

Compensation is $21 per hour. Candidates must pass background and drug screening and be able to work overtime as needed. Training and safety are emphasized across the program.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Some machine operating experience
• The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties.
• Read and verify line orders/dockets.
• Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available.
• Effectively monitor production equipment.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations.
