Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Geosciences or related field.
• Basic knowledge of digital cartographic principles relevant to Garmin’s business needs.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications.
• Ability to learn established processes/tools and apply them to daily tasks.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to document work clearly and thoroughly.
• Enthusiastic with accountability and urgency.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions under supervision or mentorship.
• Create, edit, and maintain cartographic data using Garmin software.
• Complete well-defined basic cartography tasks.
• Identify and resolve simple cartography issues.
• Submit work for peer review and act on feedback.
• Communicate status of work to supervisor or mentor.
• Participate in cartographic data evaluation, processing and verification.
• Contribute to product and process enhancements on assigned tasks.
