Job summary

The National Solutions Business Area at Leidos has an opening for a cleared cartographic analyst to support a Springfield, Virginia customer. You will join a government-contractor team delivering cartographic production and analysis using GIS with NGA data formats.

Requirements include a current TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph. Strong geospatial background and independent work ethic are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in geography, cartography and GIS (ArcGIS)
• Experience creating shapefiles and geodatabases
• Knowledge of NGA digital data formats and geospatial production techniques
• Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source information for NGA hydrographic products

Responsibilities

• Provide cartographic production and analysis within a government/contractor team
• Perform Electronic Nautical Chart conversion and production tasks
• Extract features from nautical charts and imagery
• Update source catalogs and perform data migration
