Geo Owl in Springfield, Virginia is seeking a Maritime Cartographer with at least 5 years of GEOINT/IMINT experience to support our government customers. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and strong GIS skills, including ArcGIS and cartographic production.

The ideal candidate will create shapefiles and geodatabases, work with NGA data formats, and contribute to geospatial analyses using ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS, and SocetSet. A related geospatial degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1–3 years with a related geospatial degree or 5 years with high school education in GEOINT/IMINT.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise in geography, cartography, and GIS including ArcGIS.
• Experience creating shapefiles, geodatabases, and features.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suites (ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS & SocetSet) and common office software.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, GIS, geospatial production techniques, and NGA data formats.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-3years with a related Geospatialdegree or 5 years with High School of experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), reflecting a comprehensive understanding and application of geospatial analytical methodologies and practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise and experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications.
• Expertise and experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suites (GIS commercial software packages such as ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS & SocetSet, including common office software to include spreadsheets, word processing) used by NGA to accomplish its mission.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required.
