Job summary

Geo Owl is currently looking for a Maritime Cartographer to support our customer in Springfield, Virginia. To be qualified, you need at least 5 years of relevant GEOINT/IMINT experience and meet the requirements listed below. Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years with a related Geospatial degree or 5 years with high school of experience in GEOINT/IMINT.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise in geography, cartography, and GIS including ArcGIS applications.
• Experience creating shapefiles, geodatabases, and features.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suites (ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS & SocetSet) and common office software.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS, geospatial production techniques, and NGA data formats.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Requirements: Must meet all the requirements listed below.

• A minimum of 1-3years with a related Geospatialdegree or 5 years with High School of experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), reflecting a comprehensive understanding and application of geospatial analytical methodologies and practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise and experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications.
• Expertise and experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features.
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suites (GIS commercial software packages such as ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS & SocetSet, including common office software to include spreadsheets, word processing) used by NGA to accomplish its mission.
• Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.

Education:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required.
