Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking an entry-level Team Member to gain exposure to retail tasks across store operations, customer service and service desk coordination.

You will assist with carts, trash removal, snow clearing, returns, cleaning and cross-department collaboration to support a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bending and twisting while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
