Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Alabama.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in long-term and short-term settings.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
