Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support daily store operations and customer service. You will gain exposure to various retail tasks across services, product handling, and front-end interactions.

As part of the Courtesy Team, you will assist with cart retrieval, trash collection, cleaning, and coordinating with departments to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
