Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including product handling and customer service. You will contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere and support multiple departments to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Able to lift, carry, push and pull while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside the store to the interior.
• Assist with parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash collection.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment as needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Coordinate with departments such as Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
