Job summary

Meijer in Indiana is hiring cart attendants to keep carts moving, maintain the parking lot, and support store operations. You will assist customers and help ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

In this role you’ll work with several departments and learn store processes while providing friendly service. The position offers daily variety, part-time scheduling options, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.

• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Assist multiple departments as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
