Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Ramsey, NJ is seeking a Cart Collector to keep our parking lot and store environment safe, clean, and welcoming for every customer. You will ensure carts are available and in good condition, perform light cleaning tasks, assist with minor maintenance, and help keep the store running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, organize, and maintain shopping carts throughout the parking lot and store entrances.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and light sanitizing of floors and surfaces.
• Transport items and restock supplies as needed.
• Observe surroundings to maintain safety and report hazards or maintenance needs.
• Occasionally interact with customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist other store team members as needed.

In this role, you’ll ensure shopping carts are available and in good condition, perform light cleaning duties, assist with minor maintenance tasks, and help keep the store running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, active role that makes a big impact on the overall customer experience.

• Perform minor maintenance or quick tasks such as transporting items and restocking supplies
• Observe surroundings to maintain safety and report hazards or maintenance needs
• Occasionally interact with customers in a friendly, courteous manner
• Assist other store team members as needed
