Job summary

Worksource Heart of Georgia is seeking Cart Attendants to greet customers, collect carts, and help keep our parking lot and store entrance clean.

You will operate cart-pushing equipment, work outdoors in all weather, and assist shoppers with loading when needed. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job description

Cart Attendants ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. They gather carts from the parking lot, operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store, and maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the shopping carts. Requires a positive attitude in all weather conditions!

Cart Collection: Gathering carts from the parking lot and safely maneuvering them into the store using either physical effort or motorized cart-pushing equipment.

Customer Service: Serving as the first and last point of contact for shoppers by greeting them, thanking them, and occasionally helping them load heavy purchases into their vehicles.

Weather Exposure: Working outdoors in all conditions, including intense heat, rain, and cold.

Lot Maintenance: Clearing the parking lot of stray carts and debris to ensure it remains clean, organized, and safe for both pedestrians and vehicles.

Store Upkeep: Assisting with general janitorial duties, such as cleaning restrooms, cleaning up spills on the sales floor, and sweeping the entryway.
