Job summary

ShopRite ShopRite of New London is seeking a front-end associate to deliver friendly, efficient service and assist customers with their groceries.

You will collect carts, maintain a clean store area, greet customers, and handle merchandise while following safety guidelines. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts.

Active teamwork, punctual attendance, and adherence to company policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to stand and walk for a full shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Friendly and helpful interaction with customers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Adherence to assigned schedules and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Remove debris from carts and return them to proper places.
• Assist customers with groceries as required.
• Follow safety, QA, and company policies in all duties.
