Job summary

Stonebridge Golf Club is seeking a courteous cart attendant to greet golfers, assist with bags and equipment, and manage golf carts throughout the day. You will stage and inspect carts, ensure availability, and coordinate with the Pro Shop during tournaments.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and daily setup of the driving range, with a focus on providing a seamless guest experience. Physical effort may be required during shifts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interact professionally with all guests.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Capable of using equipment and tools safely and correctly.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist golfers with their bags and equipment.
• Stage carts and clean/inspect carts; return for charging at day end.
• Ensure carts are available, windshields clean, seats dry.
• Coordinate with Pro Shop during tournaments.
• Keep cart barn and clubhouse exterior tidy; manage trash and shoes brushes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist golfers with their bags and equipment
• Staging carts; cleaning and checking carts after each use and returning carts to be charged at the end of their use for the day
• Ensures that carts are available for player us at all times, windshields are clean and seats are dry
• Work closely with the Pro Shop during tournaments
• Ensure the cart barn and clubhouse exterior are kept orderly and clean, including trash receptacles, shoe brushes, doorways clear of leaves and grass
• Washing station is to be kept clean - no grass or debris
• Cart barn floor is to be kept clean with the use of a blower
• Report all cart damage to the supervisor and Pro Shop Attendant
• Collect and return carts to the designated area after use
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
• Assist with setting up and taking down events or tournaments
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for guests
• Relieves other employees on a timely basis
• Open and close the driving range daily, make sure ropes are set up in fresh spot each morning
• Check and fill all water coolers on the course daily
• Other duties as assigned, including tasks which support the essential functions that may change or be redesigned
