Job summary

The Oaks Club is seeking two Part-Time Cart/Bag Attendants to join our Golf Operations team. This role emphasizes friendly, attentive service and ensuring carts, bags, practice areas, and equipment are prepared for daily play.

This part-time position requires flexibility to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays based on golf operations and Club needs. Must be 18 or older and comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests, and visitors promptly and professionally.
• Load bags according to the daily tee sheet.
• Prepare driving range sets up bag stands, and yardage markers.
• Move golf carts and manage bag drop for members and guests.
• Maintain bag room and cart barn cleanliness and organization.
• Clean clubs and return bags to storage after use.
• Operate range equipment and replenish balls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Cart/Bag Attendant plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our members and guests from the moment they arrive at the golf course. This position provides friendly, attentive service while ensuring golf carts, bags, practice areas, and other golf equipment are prepared and ready for daily play. This is a part-time position and requires flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include weekends and holidays based on golf operations and Club needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Understands and practices The Oaks Club A.I.T.P.E. Core Values.
• Greets all members, guests, and visitors promptly and professionally.
• Loads bags according to the daily tee sheet.
• Bring golf carts from storage to the staging area with proper scorecards.
• Manage bag drop efficiently for members and guests.
• Prepares the driving range sets up bag stands, balls, and yardage markers.
• Operates the range picker to retrieve balls.
• Maintains the driving range and replenishes balls as needed.
• Removes golf bags from carts and moves them to the cleaning area.
• Cleans clubs and returns bags to assigned storage locations.
• Cleans golf carts removes towels and trash, washes, wipes down, and prepares for next use.
• Restocks towels, pencils, tees, and sand bottles; returns carts to proper parking and plugs in chargers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bag room and cart barn.
• Maintains water stations and ashtrays at the Pro Shop.
• Other Duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Ability to work outdoors for the entire shift in varying Florida weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry golf bags weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Exposure to sub-tropical climate conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
