Job summary

Q39, LLC seeks a Carryout Specialist at our Lees Summit location to deliver fast, friendly service for takeout guests. You will answer phones, take orders, and assist guests in person while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.

This role requires at least 1 year of server experience, familiarity with Micros POS or similar tablets, and the ability to stand for 4–5 hour shifts, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a busy, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year server experience at a full-service restaurant.
• Experience with Micros POS or similar and tablet.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service accuracy and interacting with guests and fellow team members.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 4–5 hour shift.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures and functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service – Answer phones, take orders, and assist guests in person with professionalism.
• Order Flow – Coordinate with team and kitchen to manage phone, online, and in‑person orders accurately.
• Quality Standards – Follow carry‑out procedures to deliver consistent guest experiences.
• Teamwork – Support teammates, fill in as needed, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.
• Housekeeping – Maintain cleanliness of waiting areas, patio, and carry‑out stations.
• Station Readiness – Stock, prep, and close stations per Q39 procedures; report equipment or supply issues.
