Position Overview

This position is within Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, which partners with farmers and customers to source, make, and deliver essential products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Carrier Operator will coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation, to ensure a sufficient supply of goods and products. You will handle tasks and resolve complex issues related to standard transportation modes during shipments within a single country.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently collect and organize fleet-related information from internal and external clients, conducting data entry to track and document movement.
• Develop an effective system that meets inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials.
• Monitor activities such as receiving, locating, dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing inventory levels.
• Assist in planning and directing fleet activities.
• Resolve moderately complex issues independently, escalating more complex problems as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work or be on call during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

• This position is fully remote.
• Salary range: $60,486 - $81,936, with eligibility for a discretionary incentive based on performance.
• Benefits include paid time off, holidays, medical, vision, dental, flexible spending, life and disability insurance, retirement savings, and employee assistance programs.
• Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accrual: 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours/year.
