This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Carrier Operator will help coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. In this role, you will execute tasks and resolve more complex issues for standard modes of transport during shipments within a single country.

Key Accountabilities
  • Independently collect and organize fleet related information from internal and external clients and customers and conduct computer data entry to track and document movement.
  • Organize an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials.
  • Monitor activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Help plan and direct our fleet activities.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to work/be on call nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position Information
  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
  • This is position is open to fully remote.
  • The expected salary for this position is $60,486.00 -- $81,936.00. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
  • Benefits: Full-Time (30+ hours) positions are eligible for a benefit package including the following (subject to certain collective bargaining agreements for Union positions): Paid time off; paid holidays; medical, vision and dental coverage; flexible spending accounts; life insurance; disability insurance; retirement savings; employee and family assistance program (EAP)
  • Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
