Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Market Specialist on Long Island, NY to support carrier onboarding, engagement, and governance across carriers, MGAs, and intermediary partners. You will coordinate onboarding activities, maintain carrier documentation, and ensure compliant, accurate operational processes in collaboration with Production, Operations, Compliance, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in insurance operations, onboarding, compliance, market engagement, brokerage operations, or related function.
• Working knowledge of insurance products, carrier relationships, licensing requirements, and operational processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication across functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with business systems/workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new carrier and intermediary relationships.
• Prepare, review, and maintain carrier documentation, licensing records, and required compliance materials.
• Support execution of carrier agreements, authorizations, and system setup activities.
• Monitor onboarding activities and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve routine carrier questions and operational issues by applying established procedures.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate carrier information across systems and identify data quality issues.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Build working relationships across functional partners while developing knowledge of CRC's carrier engagement model.
