Minimum five years of carpet installation and repairs experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare subfloors for carpet installation, including inspection, cleaning, leveling, moisture assessment, and necessary repairs.
Measure, layout, cut, and install carpet and padding to ensure proper fit, pattern alignment, and efficient material use.
Install tack strip, padding, carpet, seams, edges, and carpet base where required.
Perform carpet seaming, trimming, edging, and finishing to meet appearance and performance standards.
Install appropriate transition materials between carpet and adjacent flooring surfaces including tile, wood, concrete, vinyl, or other substrates.
Remove and replace damaged carpet or related materials as required to maintain safe and aesthetically pleasing conditions.
