Job summary

Stark Carpet Corporation seeks an experienced Cut Table Operator for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:30 am) to cut stock and custom carpet fabrications in our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for accurate cutting and timely production, contributing to product quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include inspecting at production tables, trimming damaged pieces, returning undamaged items to inventory, and supporting other tables as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Cut fabrications as instructed.
• Inspect product at custom and stock production tables.
• Cut damaged pieces out of carpet rolls.
• Inspect returned carpet. Return any undamaged product to inventory.
• Provide back up support to various production tables as needed.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. This position may often require bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Incumbent will regularly be around moving machinery as well as marked changes in temperature and humidity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires work in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.
