Job summary

ServiceMaster by Demart is seeking a part-time janitorial associate in Dublin, OH. The role involves vacuuming carpets and stairwells, light sweeping and mopping, and using standard cleaning products and PPE. Training is provided, with emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and presenting in uniform.

Requirements include basic English communication and ability to read cleaning instructions. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, paying $15.25 per hour.

• Ability to read cleaning instructions in English.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Vacuum carpets, stairwells, and mop floors daily.

Job Position Description:

This position is responsible for maintaining the floors by vacuuming the carpets, stairwells, some sweeping/mopping of VCT. He/she is a part of a team performing these duties using an upright and or backpack vacuum. Shift is Monday thru Friday, 5-9 p.m. $15.25hr. Other duties may be Assigned as needed:

Overall duties include daily vacuuming, dust moping/wet moping

Perform all cleaning duties using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures

Maintain equipment, proper care of tools.

Use proper PPE where required

Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.

Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time

Has respect and understanding for customer

Must be able to communicate in English, using apps when necessary.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.

Ability to read cleaning instructions written in English

Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
