Archadeck Outdoor Living is seeking construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to lead residential projects. You will deliver finished work that meets contract specifications and customer expectations while aligning with Archadeck’s design and build standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating teams, validating drawings and materials, and maintaining safety and timelines. A strong work ethic and ability to follow documented processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough carpentry background including framing, trim, exterior and interior work from foundation to roof.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and perform take-offs.
• Valid CT contractor's license (HIC) and workers' compensation for you and your carpentry assistant.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees to follow construction drawings and details.
• Check drawings against sales design for adequacy and accuracy.
• Identify shortages and inform franchisee for prompt delivery of materials.
• Establish and maintain a project schedule with the franchisee.
• Keep job site orderly and uphold safety practices.
• Maintain positive relations with customers and refer issues to the franchisee for resolution.
• Communicate with franchisee as needed to resolve issues promptly.
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement signed.
• Ensure all work adheres to contract specifications and company processes.

We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America’s leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures.

We seek construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to work on our residential building & remodeling projects and capability to carry forward our design and build excellence and brand reputation. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck business team. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills with our team and clients and a strong work ethic with the ability to follow our documented processes and build specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate your employees to ensure they understand and work to construction drawings in compliance with the specified details
• Check construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of information
• Check materials delivered against take-off and inform franchisee of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflow
• Establish and follow a schedule with the franchisee
• Maintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilized
• Maintain positive relations with customers
• Refer all problems to the franchisee for resolution
• Contact franchisee if necessary to resolve immediately
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed

• A thorough background in good carpentry techniques, framing, and trim, exterior and interior, the foundation through roof

• Valid CT contractors License (HIC) and workers compensation insurance for you and your carpentry assistant

Compensation: $80.00 per hour
