Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to build and maintain rigging devices, framing, and masonry structures. You will support combat engineer missions and gain hands-on construction experience in both civilian and military contexts.

Through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, you will earn a regular paycheck during training periods and gain tuition assistance; opportunities for advancement exist with increased responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in combat engineer missions.
• Perform general heavy carpentry, structural steel and masonry duties.
