Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to gain hands-on experience in construction, framing, and fabrication while supporting combat engineer missions.

You’ll perform heavy carpentry, masonry, and rigging-related work, with opportunities to advance to leadership roles after training, and you’ll earn a regular paycheck during Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training.

Qualifications

• Basics in concrete technology, materials, proportioning, and control tests.
• Proper use of finishing tools.
• Edging, jointing, curing, and protection.
• Basics in structure foaming, roofing, and flooring.
• Interest in science and math.
