Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) operates 50 ATCs and serves 115 local feeder districts. The Carroll Area Technology Center in Carrollton, KY is seeking a Carpentry Instructor dedicated to student success and prepared to contribute to a dynamic CTE environment.

The position involves teaching occupational prep classes, collaborating with business and industry partners, and participating in KDE's broad mission to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught, or
• Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area, or
• Four years of qualifying work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
• Performs other duties as required.
