Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead civil sitework projects in the Waltham and Norwood area. The role requires overseeing crews on projects valued at $1 million or more and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will read plans, coordinate labor, equipment, and subs, and communicate with managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients. Immediate interviews are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of civil construction foreman experience.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $1 million or more.
  • Strong background in sitework, water, sewer, drainage, and blasting-related projects.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required.
  • Massachusetts 2A/1C Hoisting License is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise crews performing civil, concrete, and sitework operations.
  • Coordinate daily labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee water, sewer, drainage, excavation, and utility work.
  • Coordinate work involving blasting and complex site conditions.
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Track production, keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Enforce OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
  • Complete daily reports and maintain accurate jobsite documentation.
