Pro 1 Pest Control is seeking a Pest Exclusion Technician for the Outer Banks, NC, focused on rodent and wildlife exclusion. The role involves carpentry, minor construction, and securing structures to prevent pest entry.

Bearing construction skills with training provided; pest control licensure will be supported. This is a hands-on, in-person position with a competitive salary and company truck provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Documentation of ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings to identify rodent and wildlife entry points.
• Seal and close entry points using carpentry and minor construction.
• Install exclusion materials like bath trap covers and vent screens.
• Cut or bore into structures to access areas and repair afterward.
• Make minor structural repairs related to pest damage.
• Set traps and remove trapped animals as needed.
• Estimate materials and work neatly on-site.
• Explain problems and recommendations to clients.
• Keep the service vehicle organized and stocked.
• Manage schedule and respond quickly to client needs.
